Autodesk SketchBook Pro is paint and drawing software that makes your laptop, desktop computer or even iPad or smartphone into a sketchbook. It allows you to access professional quality sketching applications with an intuitive interface that is very easy to use. Even new users can be productive within a few minutes.
Sketchbook is versatile, with fast and reactive drawing and a variety of tools that allow you to express your ideas in a format that feels like using pen and paper. You can use it for any design process where you would normally use a pen and paper. It is ideal for illustrations and graphic arts and also ideal for industrial, automotive, architectural and manufacturing design. It is quick a reactive and feels just like using pen and paper. Sketchbook can be used to illustrate a concept, for character studies, storyboarding set and level designs and annotation and review.
Tools include markers, pencils, brushes, layers, guides, colors and blending effects. The usual brush types are there, plus airbrushes and other types of effect-producing tools. There are customized brushes that create patterned effects, too. It produces graphics easily; you can draw straight lines, circles, ellipses, rectangles and more by using draw modes or the snap-to guides. You can fine-tune your images by adjusting contrast and colors, cropping or resizing the canvas.
SketchBook uses full-featured layers that include blend modes and transparency preservation you can color and create your images. Users can load and view images and photos as a reference aid or to mark and annotate; you can open and save images from many image formats or move files in and out of Adobe Photoshop directly to and from SketchBook.
The integrated e-mail feature allows you to send share sketches with friends or associates. SketchBook supports 8 languages and reads TIFF, JPG, PNG, BMP and GIF formats.
